The Manchester Lane Test Facility is Titleist's state-of-the-art golf ball research and testing facility in Acushnet, Massachusetts. Tasked with advancing the techniques used to analyze and validate golf ball performance and upholding a commitment to product and process excellence, Manchester Lane continues to facilitate Titleist’s year-round R&D efforts. Today, Manchester Lane operates as the proving ground for all Titleist golf ball products and serves a dual role as a Tour Fitting Center, offering premium golf ball and club fitting services.

Meet the Player Research and Club Fitting Team
Karen Gray
Karen is an PGA & LPGA Member. She has worked for Titleist since 1998 and is Supervisor of Player Research for the Golf Ball R&D Department. She has played in two US Women's Opens and was a two time All-American in college at Florida Atlantic University. Karen was the Coach of the 1996 Methodist University Women's NCAA Championship team.
Chris O'Rourke
Chris has been a member of the Player Research team since March of 2015. He is a Class A PGA professional and brings his knowledge of the golf swing as well as his expertise in club fitting to Manchester Lane. Chris studied business at Methodist University with a concentration in Professional Golf Management to obtain his PGA status.
Kyle Steinhauer
Kyle joins the Player Research Team from Jacksonville, FL where he was a first assistant golf professional at the World Golf Village. He has been teaching golf for 7 years and is very excited to bring that knowledge to club fitting at Manchester Lane. Kyle has been playing golf since the age of 15 and attended Eastern Kentucky University while majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in PGA Golf Management. He is originally from Louisville, KY and loves going out to baseball games and hanging out with friends and family.
Dan Greenwood
Dan has spent most of his career as the Director of Golf at 3 of Canada’s top 100 golf courses and has been on the road as a Product Specialist with Titleist over the past 2 seasons in the Boston area. Dan Played his college golf at Eastern Michigan University and graduated with a Business Degree in Marketing. As a competitive player, Dan developed his game on various mini tours and in PGA sectional and National Championships. Dan is a PGA of Canada Class A Professional and is excited to bring his experiences as an instructor and as a competitive player to his role on the Player Research Team at Manchester Lane. His family moved to Massachusetts in 2021 from Burlington, Ontario, Canada and now resides in Franklin, MA.

A Tour fitting experience will take between 2.5 – 3 Hours.
Does my fitting fee apply to the price of my clubs?
No, the tour-level fitting fee does not go to the price of any clubs purchased after the fitting.
Will my fitting take place indoors or outdoors?
Your tour fitting experience will take place outdoors on pristine turf using state-of-the-art technology.
Should I bring my golf clubs?
Yes, we recommend you bring your golf clubs to look at your baseline performance
How do I dress for my fitting?
Please bring golf shoes and country club-appropriate attire (denim, t-shirts, and sweatpants are prohibited).
What days and times can I book a fitting?
The Manchester Lane team conducts fittings Monday – Friday, beginning at 9:00 AM and again at 1:00 PM.
Following my fitting how do I order my new clubs?
After your fitting, you will receive an email with our recommended club specifications. You can order directly from the test facility the day of your fitting, from Titleist.com, or any retailer, Pro Shop, or Golf Store.
